Klipsch RP-6000F MKII Reference Premiere Floor Standing Speaker
Overview
A mid-size to large room needs a floorstanding tower with enough scale to fill it properly, without the compromises that come from stretching a smaller design too far. The Klipsch RP-6000F II is built for that middle ground.
The RP-6000F II pairs a 1" titanium Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter with a hybrid Tractrix horn for crisp, detailed highs, and dual 6.5" Cerametallic woofers for deep bass and a clear midrange. A 2.5-way passive design and dual rear-firing Tractrix ports extend low-frequency response down to 38Hz.
The reinforced MDF cabinet with internal bracing keeps resonance low, and dual binding posts support bi-wiring or bi-amping. Cast aluminum feet and a magnetic cloth grille round out the design, finished in ebony or walnut vinyl.
Simcoe Audio Video Insight
For Central Ontario clients who want more scale than the RP-5000F II without stepping up to the flagship RP-8000F II, the RP-6000F II's 6.5" woofers are the right middle ground — enough output and bass extension for a proper home theatre or serious two-channel system without the size or cost of the largest tower in the lineup.

Buyer's Guide
Who It's For
- The Mid-to-Large Room Listener: wants more scale than an entry tower without the size of the flagship.
- The Reference Premiere System Builder: wants a tonal match for RP-series centre and surround speakers.
- The Future Atmos Adopter: wants a tower that's ready for height speakers when the budget allows.
How It Compares
The RP-6000F II sits between the RP-5000F II and RP-8000F II in Klipsch's Reference Premiere floorstanding lineup. Its dual 6.5" woofers offer more bass extension and output than the RP-5000F II's 5.25" woofers, while the flagship RP-8000F II steps up further with dual 8" woofers for the largest rooms.
