Overview
The Bowers & Wilkins M-1 is a compact satellite speaker built for spaces where a standard bookshelf or floorstanding cabinet doesn't fit. It uses a 2-way vented-box design with a Nautilus™-tube-loaded aluminum dome tweeter and a 4-inch woven glass-fibre cone bass/midrange driver, and it's equally suited to multi-channel home theatre arrays or a simple two-channel setup.
The Nautilus tube-loading on the tweeter absorbs unwanted rear-diaphragm energy so high frequencies stay clean and detailed even at the M-1's small size. A multi-position swiveling foot lets it sit on a shelf, mount to a wall with the included bracket, or step up onto the optional FS-M-1 floor stand. Pair it with a Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 or PV1D subwoofer for full-range performance, or run it on its own for two-channel listening thanks to its extended bass response for a speaker this size.
The cabinet and matching perforated steel grille are available in Matte Black or Matte White, so a full surround array can disappear into the room or make a deliberate design statement.
