Bluesound PULSE SUB+ Wireless Powered Subwoofer
Overview
Compact speakers and soundbars can only move so much air, and that is where the bottom octave of music and movies goes missing. The Bluesound PULSE SUB+ is a wireless powered subwoofer that adds deep, detailed bass to Bluesound speakers, stereo components, and home theatre.
An 8-inch polypropylene woofer is driven by a 150W continuous (200W dynamic peak) Smart DSP Class D amplifier, with a frequency response of 22Hz-150Hz (±2dB). Volume, variable crossover (50-150Hz, plus LFE), and phase are all adjusted in the BluOS Controller app.
Because it connects wirelessly, you can place it beside, behind, or beneath furniture; stand it up, lay it down, or mount it with the included wall bracket. Bluesound notes it is designed for Generation 2 or newer Bluesound models, and it also has a wired analog mono line-level input and Ethernet.

Start with the subwoofer near the front of the room and use the crossover and phase settings in the BluOS app to blend it with your speakers. Lying it flat under a sofa or credenza is a tidy option in smaller rooms.
