AudioQuest PowerQuest 3 Surge Protector 8 Outlets & 4 USB Charging Ports
Overview
A home theatre puts a lot of equipment on one circuit, and every piece shares the noise and spikes that travel on household power. The AudioQuest PowerQuest 3 is an eight-outlet power conditioner and surge protector with application-optimized outlets and four USB charging ports.
It includes two Linear Filter outlets optimized for 4K/8K video, two High-Current outlets for amplifiers, powered speakers, or subwoofers, and four more Linear Filter outlets for source components. AudioQuest rates its Differential-Mode Noise-Dissipation at more than 22 dB of reduction from 30kHz to 1GHz, and Common-Mode at more than 22 dB from 30kHz to 100MHz.
Non-sacrificial surge protection withstands repeated 6000V/3000A input surge tests, Extreme Voltage Shutdown opens the main relay in under 0.25 seconds at 140VAC, and phone, network, and coaxial protection covers your signal lines. The slim unit stands on a floor stand behind a cabinet or lies flat with the stand removed.
Simcoe Audio Video Insight
Put the TV or projector on the video-optimized outlet, amplifiers, receivers, soundbars, and subwoofers on the High-Current outlets, and sources, routers, and computers on the Linear Filtered outlets.
