Overview
Large rooms need real bass, a clear midrange and highs that stay smooth off-axis, and the DALI OPTICON 8 MK2 is the powerhouse of the OPTICON MK2 family built to supply all three.
The DALI OPTICON 8 MK2 is a 3½-way floorstanding loudspeaker for large listening spaces. Two 8-inch bass drivers and a dedicated 6½-inch midrange driver pair with a hybrid tweeter module that combines a 29mm soft dome with a 17 x 45mm planar element. DALI builds it at its factory in Denmark.
Frequency range is 38Hz to 30kHz (±3dB), sensitivity is 88.5dB, and maximum SPL is 112dB at 1m. DALI says each stereo pair is built and tested by one technician using components from the same batch.
