The Bowers & Wilkins HTM71 S3 Signature takes the standard HTM71 S3's three-way design and applies the same upgrades developed for the 800 Series Signature line: upgraded bass motor systems, improved capacitors, revised speaker terminals, and a more open tweeter grille mesh. The core architecture carries over unchanged, including the decoupled Continuum FST midrange driver and Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing.
Those refinements are paired with two exclusive finishes, Datuk Gloss wood veneer or Midnight Blue Metallic paintwork, giving the Signature a distinct look from the standard 700 Series lineup. The three-way layout, with the midrange driver decoupled directly beneath the tweeter, keeps dialogue clarity consistent across a wide seating area rather than favouring just the centre seat.
Bi-wire/bi-amp capable rear terminals and a Flowport reflex vent carry over from the standard model, and the cabinet is sized to match the rest of the 700 Series Signature range.
