First things first, the Streamer itself is a beautiful piece of kit, with amazing sound quality and a lovely informative display. That’s when you can get it to work. The DTS Play app is truly awful, and seems to be the only way to get the streamer to work. Starting the app, one is met with a screen stating that it is looking for any connected devices, 50% of the time the will succeed in connecting to the streamer, but the other 50% will just result in an ongoing search with no results. There are many more quirks in the app, Spotify doesn’t want to work at all, and Tidal is also hit and miss. Hopefully, an update to the app will fix this going forward.
