Overview
The Anthem MRX SLM solves a specific problem: a real 5.1-channel receiver for a room where a standard-height chassis simply won't fit. At 1.5 inches tall and 11 inches wide, it mounts flat behind a TV, sits inside a shallow media cabinet, or slides into a 1U rack space, while still delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms across five amplified channels.
ARC Genesis room correction and native decoding for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X carry over from Anthem's full-sized MRX receivers, and a Multi-Channel Phoenix connector block lets you wire all five speaker channels on a workbench, then snap the block into place during final installation instead of fighting cramped binding posts. HDMI 2.0b with eARC handles 4K/60Hz video with Dolby Vision support.
The Anthem Web User Interface manages setup and day-to-day adjustments from a browser, and the receiver supports Control4, Crestron, Savant, and ELAN for custom-installed systems.
