Overview
If your hi-fi still sounds great but can't stream, you don't need to replace it. The Audiolab 6000N Play is a wireless network streamer from Audiolab's 6000 Series that adds streaming services, internet radio, and your own music library to any amplifier with an analog or digital input.
It runs on DTS Play-Fi, so you can stream from smartphones, tablets, PCs, NAS drives, and music servers over its dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi. Play-Fi gives you services like Spotify, Deezer, Napster, KKBox, and SiriusXM, a radio guide with thousands of stations and podcasts, Spotify Connect, and gapless playback.
For conversion, an ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC feeds a variable analog output, and coaxial and optical digital outputs let you use the DAC in your amplifier instead. Music presets work like the ones in your car: hold a button to store a station or playlist, then press once to play it.
