Overview
When a home theatre grows past what a single receiver can handle, it needs a component whose only job is getting the sound and picture right. The Anthem AVM 70 8K is that component: a dedicated audio-video processor with no amplifiers inside, built to pair with separate power amplifiers sized to your speakers.
ARC Genesis, Anthem's room correction system, uses a precision microphone to measure how sound behaves in your room and corrects the frequency response, with four storable profiles. It processes up to 15.2 channels (a 9.2.6 speaker layout with two independent subwoofer outputs), and 32-bit/768kHz DACs handle the digital-to-analog conversion.
Seven HDMI 2.1 inputs pass 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video, with VRR and ALLM for current gaming consoles. AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth are built in, and the Anthem Web User Interface and Remote App let you run everything from a phone, tablet, or laptop.
