The RP-502S II is a bipolar surround speaker with dual 1" titanium LTS vented tweeters on hybrid Tractrix horns and dual 5.25" Cerametallic woofers, firing in two directions to disperse sound around the room rather than at a single point. Klipsch's Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) is what makes that dispersion sound cohesive rather than diffuse, even in rooms with awkward speaker placement.
A sealed enclosure keeps the design compact, and a keyhole mounting system makes wall installation straightforward. Additional cabinet bracing minimizes resonance, and the input panel uses audiophile-grade wiring with aluminum binding posts.
