The Bowers & Wilkins 707 S3 is the most compact speaker in the 700 Series lineup, built for small rooms, offices, and shelves where a larger cabinet won't fit. It's a two-way bookshelf speaker with a decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter mounted flush in the front baffle and a 5-inch Continuum cone bass/midrange driver, in a cabinet just 6.5 inches wide.
The tweeter sits flush in a curved front baffle inspired by the 800 Series Diamond, with an individual driver pod that reduces cabinet coloration for a cleaner sound. At 84dB sensitivity, the 707 S3 asks more of an amplifier than most of the 700 Series lineup, so it's worth pairing with a reasonably powerful integrated amp rather than a low-power receiver.
The 707 S3 covers a frequency range of 45Hz to 33kHz, pairs with amplifiers from 30W to 100W into 8 ohms, and comes in Gloss Black, Satin White, and Mocha finishes. Stands aren't included, so budget for a rigid, mass-loaded stand separately if you're not placing these on an existing shelf.
