Overview
The JBL Flip 7 is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker with bold JBL Pro Sound and AI Sound Boost, built to go from the beach to the backyard to a cozy night in. It fits in the palm of your hand, is waterproof, dustproof and drop-proof, and plays for up to 16 hours. It's for anyone who wants big sound from a speaker they can take everywhere.
A 45 x 80 mm woofer and a 16 mm tweeter are driven by 25 W and 10 W of amplification, and AI Sound Boost analyses the music in real time for more power with less distortion. Battery life runs up to 14 hours, and Playtime Boost stretches it to up to 16. The IP68 rating covers water and dust, and JBL designed it to keep playing after a 1-metre drop onto concrete.
The new PushLock system lets you swap carrying accessories at the push of a button, and both a loop and a carabiner are included. Auracast connects the Flip 7 with other Auracast-enabled JBL speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 handles the wireless connection, and the USB-C port supports lossless audio playback from a compatible source. It's made with recycled plastic and fabric and ships in FSC-certified paper packaging.

JBL doesn't include a USB cable with the Flip 7, so have a USB-C cable and charger on hand; with a 5 V/3 A charger it fully charges in about 2.5 hours. Use the carabiner for a backpack or bike and the loop for carrying by hand. If you want more coverage later, add another Auracast-enabled JBL speaker to play the same music across a bigger space.
