FiiO BTR11 Portable Bluetooth Headphone Amplifier
Overview
The FiiO BTR11 is a tiny clip-on Bluetooth headphone amplifier that lets you keep using the wired earphones or headphones you love, without a cable running to your phone. Plug your headphones into its 3.5mm jack, clip it to a collar or bag strap or hang it on a lanyard, and listen wirelessly.
It uses a BES2700 Bluetooth 5.3 chip with LDAC, AAC, and SBC, so Android phones that support LDAC can stream at higher quality than standard Bluetooth. A separate HT97220 headphone amp delivers up to 45mW per channel into 16 ohms, enough for most earphones and portable headphones. A built-in microphone with call noise reduction handles phone calls, and it remembers two paired devices.
It weighs about 13g and runs about 15 hours on AAC or about 8.5 hours on LDAC. A one-hour charge over USB-C gets it back to about 90%. A red and blue light shows battery and which codec is in use, the multi-function button reconnects with one press and calls up your phone's voice assistant with a double press, and the FiiO Control app adds settings and firmware updates.
