Over the years I have bought and sold speakers ranging from $500 to over $25,000 a pair. I am surprisingly impressed with the Dali Oberon 3’s, especially at the price point of $600. I would have gladly paid $1,000 for the pair. They image well, bass extension is fairly deep down to around a believable 47Hz. Not bad for a bookshelf speaker. I hope after the break-in period, they open up a bit with female vocals and the upper end presents an openness and more credulity of a live event. But hey, for $600 I’m not complaining.
Worth every pennyBrilliant sound
I'm sure you can get comparable sound for less money but these look good in my setup.
Great speakers. Warm sounding, nice imaging. Bought them without a chance of listening first and I was very pleasantly surprised with them.
Smooth and balanced sound. Use with Cambridge CXA 61 and U-Turn Turntable/Preamp. Did quite a bit of research and kept coming back to these. Highly recommended!
