Bluesound Pulse Flex Wireless All-In-One Music Streaming Speaker
Overview
Most rooms in a home have music playing at some point, but few have space for a full stereo system. The Bluesound PULSE FLEX is a compact all-in-one wireless streaming speaker that brings clear, detailed sound to a kitchen, bedroom, or office, and streams from more than 20 music services through the BluOS Controller app.
Inside, a Smart DSP amplifier delivers 50 watts of total system power to a 0.75-inch tweeter and a 4-inch woofer. It streams hi-res music up to 24-bit/192kHz, supports MQA and DSD256, and connects over dual-band Wi-Fi 5 or Gigabit Ethernet. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready support are built in, along with Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD.
Use one on its own, pair two for stereo, or add a pair as wireless surround speakers with a PULSE CINEMA, PULSE CINEMA MINI, or POWERNODE. Three preset buttons and top-panel controls handle everyday listening without a phone, and USB-C, a 3.5mm optical/analog combo input, and a USB-A port for external storage cover wired sources.
Simcoe Audio Video Insight
The PULSE FLEX is an easy way to start a whole-home system: begin with one in the kitchen and add more Bluesound players room by room, all grouped in the same app. For a desk setup, the USB-C input lets it play straight from a computer. If you are in our area and planning music in several rooms, we are happy to help map it out.

Buyer's Guide
Who It's For
- The Multi-Room Starter: Wants to start with one great-sounding speaker and add more rooms later.
- The Kitchen or Office Listener: Needs compact, room-filling sound on a counter, shelf, or desk.
- The Home Theatre Builder: Wants wireless surround speakers for a PULSE CINEMA, PULSE CINEMA MINI, or POWERNODE.
How It Compares
The PULSE FLEX is Bluesound's compact streaming speaker. For larger rooms, the PULSE M steps up in size and output, and if you would rather use your own passive speakers, the POWERNODE streaming amplifier offers the same BluOS platform.
