AudioQuest PowerQuest 707 High-Performance Power Conditioner
Overview
Amplifiers and source components ask different things of a power supply: amps need current on demand, while sources benefit most from clean, filtered power. The AudioQuest PowerQuest 707 is a 2RU rack-mountable power conditioner with 12 AC outlets: 4 High-Current outlets with Transient Power Correction for amplifiers, receivers, soundbars, and subwoofers, and 8 Ultra-Linear Filtered outlets for source components, computers, modems, and routers.
AudioQuest says its advanced power filtration removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners. Non-sacrificial surge protection withstands multiple 6000V or 3000A strikes, the maximum that can survive a building's AC electrical panel, without damage, and Extreme-Voltage Shutdown disengages AC power in under 0.25 seconds at 140VAC. On its High-Current outlets, Transient Power Correction provides a low-impedance reservoir of 45 amps (peak, up to 25mS) so current-hungry amplifiers get uncompressed current on demand.
It comes with a detachable 2m PQ-715 power cable made with AudioQuest's Semi-Solid Long-Grain Copper and direction-controlled conductors, a flat-to-wall plug for tight spaces, and 2RU rack ears for simple rack mounting.
Simcoe Audio Video Insight
Plug amplifiers, AV receivers, subwoofers, and soundbars into the High-Current outlets, and keep sources, streamers, network gear, and computers on the filtered outlets. Ask us if you would like help planning power for a larger rack or theatre.

Why the AudioQuest PowerQuest 707 Stands Out
12 Purpose-Built Outlets
4 High-Current with Transient Power Correction for amplifiers and 8 Ultra-Linear Filtered for source components.
Ultra-Linear Noise-Dissipation
Consistent noise reduction for black backgrounds and detailed sound.
Non-Sacrificial Surge Protection
Withstands repeated 6000V/3000A input surge tests, the maximum that can survive a building's AC panel, without parts wearing out.
Extreme Voltage Shutdown
Opens the main power relay in under 0.25 seconds at 140VAC and resets automatically once power is back in a safe range.
Transient Power Correction
A low-impedance circuit gives amplifiers a reservoir of 45 amps (peak, up to 25mS) for uncompressed current on demand.
Detachable PQ-715 Power Cable
A 2m Semi-Solid Long-Grain Copper cable that avoids current compression, reduces distortion, and dissipates noise.
Rack-Mountable
2RU rack ears included, plus a flat-to-wall plug for tight installations.
Buyer's Guide
Who It's For
- The Hi-Fi Owner: Wants filtered power for sources and high-current outlets for amplifiers.
- The Home Theatre Owner: Powers an AV receiver or amplifiers, subwoofers, and sources from one rack-mountable unit.
- The Rack Builder: Wants a 2RU conditioner with rack ears included.
How It Compares
The PowerQuest 707 shares the 505's Ultra-Linear Filtered outlets and PQ-715 cable and adds Transient Power Correction on its four High-Current outlets. The 303 uses Linear Filtered outlets and a PQ-415 cable.
