Overview
Making the jump from a soundbar to real stereo separates doesn't have to mean a big footprint or a big budget. The Klipsch R-50M brings genuine two-channel performance into a compact bookshelf cabinet.
The R-50M pairs a 1" aluminum Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter with an all-new 90° x 90° Tractrix horn for crisp, controlled highs, and a 5.25" spun-copper Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer (TCP) woofer for smooth, detailed midrange and bass. At 92dB sensitivity, it's efficient enough to play loud and clean off a wide range of amplifiers and AV receivers.
The reinforced 3/4" MDF cabinet uses an updated internal bracing design to keep resonance low, and is finished in scratch-resistant textured wood grain vinyl with hidden fasteners and a low-profile magnetic grille. A rear-firing Tractrix port extends bass response for a fuller sound than the compact enclosure size would suggest.
