The Audeze LCD Spring Steel Suspension Headband (Leather Free) is a replacement headband assembly for Audeze's LCD-series headphones, built around a spring steel frame paired with a leather-free synthetic suspension strap. It's designed to spread the weight of the headphones evenly across your head rather than concentrating it in one spot, which is the usual cause of hotspots on a worn or ill-fitting stock band.
Every headband ships with a full instruction sheet and the simple tools needed to swap it in yourself, and it's compatible with all Audeze LCD-series headphones except the LCD-5s and LCD-1.
It's a straightforward fix for anyone whose current headband no longer distributes weight the way it did when new, without needing to replace the whole headphone.
