I recently purchased the RX-V6A to replace an old Denon AVR. Installation and setup was easy and tweaking the settings was easy using the built-in web interface. I have it connected to a Samsung TV and an array of Klipsch speakers and subwoofers. The unit looks good, sounds great, the audio quality is superb and it has plenty of power. The only problem I have is when I crank this beast up it scares off the wildlife, the dogs hide, and the wife yells at me.
This AV RECEIVER is a great, not-so-entry-level, smart, network compatible and contemporary AV receiver, and the new exterior design makes it evident that this is a 21st century device. If you want true surround sound and a clear, powerful music experience, you should definitely choose a Yamaha product.
My third Yamaha receiver (over 25+ years) and it doesn't disappoint.. Easy to set up, sound quality's excellent and very vesatile with my other AV equipment.. Can't go wrong with Yamaha..
This receiver is an upgrade to my previous Yamaha receiver which was 5 years old and destroyed by a recent lightning strike. I like Yamaha receiver/amps because they produce great stereo surround sound through by built in speaker systems. If the product meets your needs; Yamaha is a good choice.
Really having a difficult time getting zone 2 to work. I have two wired porch speakers that are not responding when I switch to zone 2. I have tried different connections with no success. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the overall performance of the receiver.
