Good receiver for the price. Has a good amount of features. My only wish is that it had Bluetooth.

My Onkyo died (apparently a common problem) and while this one doesn't have many of the features that one had I think it's simplicity is it's strength. I was looking for the least expensive 4k receiver from a reputable brand. I've never owned a piece of Yamaha audio equipment before, so I took a chance and so far I love it.

Changing speaker impedance is not explained in the quick guide that comes with the machine which to me is important. The machine comes set for 8 ohm speakers. If your speakers are 6 ohms, which is usually marked on the back of each speaker, press the straight button on front of machine and while holding down, press power on. With the screen showing 8 0hm min, press straight button to show 6 ohm min. shut off machine and connect speakers. The owners manual is 111 pages long. If you are using 8 ohm speakers, there will be no problem. The machine itself is very nice and it replaced my yamaha 3064 perfectly, being this is a 3072 model.
