Overview
The Anthem MCA 325 Gen 2 is a dedicated 3-channel power amplifier built to carry the front stage of a home theater: left, right, and center. Designed and built in Canada, it takes that job off a receiver's internal amplifiers so all three channels get equal, uncompromised power.
Each channel delivers 225 watts continuous into 8 ohms, scaling up to 600 watts into 2-ohm loads, backed by Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) that protects the amp from excess current, voltage, or heat without fuses or signal-degrading relays in the path. A shortened internal signal path and low-noise toroidal power supply keep the noise floor low enough that a 120dB signal-to-noise ratio is achievable.
Custom heat sinks allow fan-free, silent operation, and three trigger options (manual, 12V, and signal-sensing auto-on) make it straightforward to integrate into an automated system.
