Sonos Premium Entertainment Set with Arc Ultra FAQs

Does Arc Ultra support Dolby Atmos, and what connection is needed for it?

Yes, Arc Ultra supports Dolby Atmos. To get Atmos sound, you need to connect the Arc Ultra to your TV using an HDMI cable via the eARC port (or ARC, if eARC is not available) on your TV.

Can I stream via Bluetooth to the Arc Ultra directly?

Arc Ultra supports Bluetooth audio playback. This lets you stream directly from a phone or tablet if needed, even while the system is primarily using Wi-Fi for multiroom and TV audio.

How do I add and configure the Sub 4 in the Sonos app after setting up Arc Ultra?

In the Sonos app, go to Settings > System > Add Product, then follow the on-screen prompts. The app will guide you through locating and pairing the Sub 4 with the Arc Ultra. Once added, you may be prompted to run Trueplay tuning so the system is calibrated to your room.

What should I do if the Sub 4 fails to connect or shows “Not Configured”?

First, reboot your router, Arc Ultra, and Sub 4 (power off all, wait ~30 seconds, then power on).
Make sure your Sub 4 is within good Wi-Fi range.
You can also temporarily connect Sub 4 via Ethernet during setup to stabilize the connection and then switch to wireless.
If it still shows “Not Configured,” remove it from the app and add it again as a new product.
