Overview
The Kanto SP32PL is a pair of 32-inch swivelling floor stands for bookshelf speakers, part of Kanto's SP Series. Heavy-duty steel construction supports speakers up to 30 lb each, while two sizes of swivelling top plates help fit different cabinets and point the sound toward your listening position. It's for anyone who wants bookshelf or powered speakers off the furniture and set up properly on the floor.
Each stand comes with two top plate sizes, 4.3 x 7.1 inches or 7 x 7 inches, and each plate includes ¼"-20 mounting for compatible speakers. Rotate the top plates to aim your speakers at the main seat, even when the stands can't sit perfectly square to it.
Power cables and speaker wire route through the hollow steel columns for a tidy setup, and the powder-coated finish comes in black or white. Included floor spikes and domed rubber feet keep the stands stable on carpet or hardwood floors. The SP32PL stands 32 inches (81.3 cm) tall on an 8.9 x 10.6 inch base.

Choose the height so the tweeters land close to ear level from your seat. The 32-inch SP32PL suits higher seating or speakers that need to clear nearby furniture, while the 26-inch version is the alternative if you need the speakers lower. Use the spikes on carpet and the rubber feet on hardwood, and run your cables through the columns before you mount the speakers. Kanto pairs the SP Series with its REN, YU4 and YU6 powered speakers.
