Overview
The DALI SONIK 1 is an ultra-compact two-way passive bookshelf speaker that delivers full, detailed sound in rooms where space is tight. It pairs a 29mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter with a 5¼-inch wood fibre woofer, and DALI designed it for shelves, stands, or wall mounting.
The woofer uses DALI's Clarity Cone, a paper and wood fibre cone inspired by the company's flagship KORE technology. DALI says it gives lightweight rigidity and better resonance control, for a more realistic, uncoloured upper midrange and a smooth handover to the tweeter. Behind it, DALI's patented SMC Essential Magnet System places SMC material directly in the voice coil's working zone to reduce distortion, hysteresis, and eddy currents for a cleaner, more relaxed midrange.
SONIK 1 is the smallest speaker in the SONIK series, with a frequency range of 51Hz to 26kHz (±3dB), 86dB sensitivity, a 6-ohm nominal impedance, and a maximum SPL of 106dB. DALI recommends amplifiers from 25 to 100 watts, and its wide dispersion keeps the sound clear and balanced wherever you place it.

SONIK 1 is the SONIK model to choose when the room or the furniture sets the limits: a bedroom, a den, a desk system, or a shelf beside the TV. Because DALI designed it for wide dispersion, it's forgiving about placement, so it can sound balanced on a bookcase or the wall where larger speakers would struggle. In a home theatre, it also makes a compact surround speaker alongside larger SONIK models.
