DALI KUPID Premium Compact Passive Hi-Fi Bookshelf Speakers - (Pair)

Overview

The DALI KUPID is a compact two-way passive bookshelf speaker that delivers true hi-fi sound on a modest budget. With bold colours and soft, rounded edges, it's designed to fit into any room, whether it's your main system or a second setup in a den, home office, garage, or cottage.

At its heart is a 4½-inch low-loss bass/midrange driver paired with a 26mm soft dome tweeter for clear highs and an expansive soundstage. A dual flare bass reflex port adds powerful, dynamic bass while reducing turbulence, and custom-designed crossovers balance the two drivers. DALI says KUPID draws on more than 40 years of its loudspeaker design and manufacturing, using the same sound design principles as its premium models.

KUPID covers 63Hz to 25kHz (±3dB) with 83dB sensitivity, a 4-ohm nominal impedance, and a maximum SPL of 103dB. DALI recommends amplifiers from 40 to 120 watts, and its ultra-compact size lets you place it on a shelf, in furniture, or on the wall with the included bracket.

Simcoe Audio Video Insight

KUPID is a great fit for anyone who wants real hi-fi sound without big speakers taking over the room. Because it's a 4-ohm speaker with 83dB sensitivity, pair it with an amplifier that's comfortable with 4-ohm loads and has enough power, ideally within DALI's 40 to 120 watt range. The included wall bracket makes it easy to mount in a kitchen, office, or small living room.
