Overview
The Bowers & Wilkins FS-600 S3 is the dedicated floor stand for B&W's 600 Series stand-mount speakers, sold as a pair. B&W says it gets the best possible performance from your 600 Series stand-mounts, and its 600 Series manual notes that the 606 S3 and 607 S3 are primarily designed to be mounted on the FS-600 S3.
B&W recommends placing stand-mount speakers so the tweeters sit at roughly ear height at your usual listening position, and a dedicated stand gives you more flexibility to position them than a shelf. The stand columns can be filled with dry sand, as shown in B&W's assembly instructions.
Each pair comes with an accessory pack of spikes, rubber feet, screws, and washers, so you can set up on carpet or hard floors.
