Bluesound Powernode (2025) - Hi-Res Streaming Amplifier
Overview
A pair of good passive speakers needs an amplifier, a streamer, and a way to connect the TV. The Bluesound POWERNODE combines all three: a streaming amplifier with 100 watts per channel, HDMI eARC, and the BluOS multi-room platform in one compact box.
Its DirectDigital amplification is rated at 100W x 2 (or 80W x 3 for left, centre, and right) into 8 ohms, with 265W of IHF dynamic power into 4 ohms. It plays up to 24-bit/192kHz, DSD256, and MQA, decodes Dolby Digital, and has a 6.35mm headphone output with THX AAA technology.
Stream 23+ services with the BluOS app, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, or Roon Ready, and use two-way Bluetooth. Wired inputs include HDMI eARC, USB-C, TOSLINK optical, RCA analog, and a 3.5mm optical/analog combo, with a subwoofer output and a touch panel with five presets. Add PULSE speakers wirelessly as surrounds for Dolby Digital surround sound.
