Bluesound Hub Versatile Network Accessory - Black

Overview

A turntable, CD player, or TV usually only plays in the room it is plugged into. The Bluesound HUB turns any wired audio source into a multi-room source, transmitting its sound wirelessly to one or many Bluesound players around the home.

It has five inputs: HDMI eARC with CEC, coaxial, digital optical, stereo analog, and a low-noise moving magnet phono stage that works as a network turntable preamp. It can play one analog and one digital stream at the same time to different Bluesound or BluOS players.

Choose any HUB input as the source in the BluOS app, and connect to your network over Wi-Fi 5 or Gigabit Ethernet. Bluesound also suggests using the HUB with a pair of PULSE speakers for TV sound.

Simcoe Audio Video Insight

The HUB is the simplest way we know to get vinyl into a Bluesound system: plug the turntable into the phono input and play it in any room. Up to four HUBs can run on one network, giving eight simultaneous streams.

Why the Bluesound HUB Stands Out

HDMI eARC with CEC, coaxial, optical, stereo analog RCA, and moving magnet phono.

Built-In MM Phono Stage

A low-noise, wide-band phono stage makes it a network turntable preamp.

Play one analog and one digital source to different BluOS players.

Any Source, Any Room

Send CD, vinyl, or TV audio to Bluesound players throughout the home.

Scales Up

Up to 4 HUBs on one network for 8 simultaneous streams.

Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Wi-Fi 5 (2.4/5GHz) or Gigabit Ethernet.

Buyer's Guide

Who It's For

  • The Vinyl Listener: Wants to stream a turntable to Bluesound players around the home.
  • The CD Collector: Wants to bring a CD player into a wireless system.
  • The TV Sound Listener: Wants TV audio over HDMI eARC to a pair of PULSE speakers.

How It Compares

The HUB is a network audio source, not a player: its audio output is network only, sending its inputs to other Bluesound or BluOS players over the network. For a streamer that connects to an amplifier, see the NODE family.
