AudioQuest SureGrip 100 Banana Plugs
Overview
Bare speaker wire frays, oxidizes, and can short if a stray strand touches the wrong terminal. The AudioQuest SureGrip 100 Banana Plugs give your speaker cables a clean, secure, high-performance termination, and fit cables up to 9 AWG and universal speaker binding posts.
AudioQuest uses a Beryllium Copper base metal, which it says is stronger, more conductive, and sounds better than the phosphor bronze used in most connectors. Direct-gold plating, with no nickel layer underneath, avoids sonically degrading intermediate layers of lesser metal.
The included mini-wrench creates a simple, secure cold-weld connection between plug and conductor with no solder, and the non-metallic ABS casings are clearly labelled for the speaker and amplifier ends.

Strip only as much wire as the plug needs, twist the strands tight, and use the included wrench to snug each plug down firmly. Mark positive and negative as you go so both channels end up in phase.
