Overview
A TV, soundbar, receiver, and streaming gear all share the same household power, along with the noise and spikes that travel on it. The AudioQuest PowerQuest 2 is a six-outlet power conditioner and surge protector with outlets tailored to video, source components, and high-current gear, plus two USB-A charging ports.
AudioQuest says its advanced power filtration removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners. Its non-sacrificial surge protection withstands repeated 6000V/3000A input surge tests, the maximum that can survive a building's AC electrical panel, so there are no protective components to wear out, and Extreme Voltage Shutdown opens the main relay in under 0.25 seconds at 140VAC.
The slim unit can stand upright on its detachable base behind a cabinet, with cords plugging straight down into the top row, or lie flat on a shelf. It includes one 4K/8K video-optimized outlet, three Linear Filtered outlets, two High-Current outlets, EMI/RFI and differential-mode noise filtering, cable/satellite signal-line protection, and a directionally optimized AudioQuest power cord.
