Overview
Every component in a system runs on AC power, and the cable that delivers it can bring RF noise along with the current. The AudioQuest NRG-X3 Power Cable is a 3-pole AC cable with an IEC C13 connector for DACs, powered desktop speakers, game consoles, streamers, and other components.
Its Long-Grain Copper conductors minimize distortion caused by the grain boundaries found in any metal conductor, and AudioQuest's Semi-Solid Concentric topology packs the strands tightly so they never change position, significantly reducing strand-interaction distortion.
The conductors are direction-controlled, a core part of AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation approach, so induced noise is dissipated and drained properly. AudioQuest says the result is quieter backgrounds and cleaner, clearer sound.
