Overview

The Anthem MRX 740 8K sits in the middle of Anthem's MRX receiver line, pairing 11.2 channels of processing with 7 amplified channels, so a 5.1.2 or 7.1 layout runs from one chassis with room to grow.
The first five channels deliver 140 watts each into 8 ohms (two channels driven), and the remaining two are rated at 60 watts each. ARC Genesis room correction, with Anthem's redesigned calibration microphone, tunes the system to your room through two parallel subwoofer outputs, and the same 32-bit/768kHz DACs used across the MRX line handle the conversion.
Seven HDMI 2.1 inputs and three outputs, including Zone 2 and eARC, pass 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video with VRR and ALLM for gaming. Channels can be reassigned for bi-amping or a second zone, and the Anthem Web User Interface and Remote App handle day-to-day control.
