Overview
In a large room with a big speaker layout, the processor sets the ceiling for how good everything else can sound. The Anthem AVM 90 8K is Anthem's flagship audio-video processor, built for theatres where the processor needs to keep pace with every speaker and subwoofer connected to it, while separate power amplifiers handle the amplification.
ESS Sabre 32-bit/768kHz DACs and a 1.6GHz dual-core DSP with 64-bit dual precision handle 15.4 channels of processing across 19 pre-amplifier outputs. ARC Genesis room correction measures your room with a precision microphone and calibrates up to four subwoofers independently, which is where larger and acoustically difficult rooms benefit most.
Seven 8K-ready HDMI 2.1 inputs and three outputs support eARC, HDCP 2.3, and VRR and ALLM for gaming. Day-to-day control runs through the Anthem Web User Interface and Remote App, with IP control for Control4, Crestron, Savant, RTI, URC, and ELAN in professionally installed systems.
